Answer:

Explanation:

The Chief prepares his people for their impending doom by saying that no one will be spared from the hands of time, death and decay. Death is a common destiny that the White men too cannot defy.

Anyway, Seattle says that he may still agree to the government’s proposal but the natives should be allowed to visit the resting grounds of their ancestors.

But should we accept it, I here and now make this condition that we will not be denied the privilege without molestation of visiting at any time the tombs of our ancestors, friends, and children.

He again warns the President to be just and deal kindly with his people. He believes that death is just a change of worlds and the spirits of the natives will still be there after their death to take revenge if they are treated badly.

Hope this helps.....♥♥♥♥

The order of nature referred by the chief :-

The Suquamish are the tribe that includes Chief Seattle. His address was given in 1854 to this indigenous group. Because their males struggled against actual or perceived wrong, the local tribe is dwindling. He acknowledges that young people tend to be impulsive and relentless. They cannot put up with unfairness. They engage in vindictive behaviour because they see it as profitable. To exact revenge, they risk their lives. Although they should be proud of themselves for doing this, the real losers are the mothers of the lost boys. Wars don't benefit the elderly men and women who wait at home for their offspring. Seattle abhors war and does not exalt such actions of retaliation.

The Suquamish tribe was led by Chief Seattle, a representative of the first immigrants.

  • A land treaty was suggested to the tribe during their trying times.
  • They would sell the Whites their property in exchange for another piece of land on which to settle and protection from their adversaries.
  • The aboriginal man's existence revolved heavily around the land, but the proposal made sense for their future.
  • Seattle persuaded people to accede to this pact without a battle and with respect for the aboriginal man's feelings through the power of his oratory. From this speech, we can infer a lot of things.

These lines filled the men with confidence and the hint was provided that justice will prevail in the end .
