The raw form of any mineral is referred to as ores. we extract minerals from ores.

Ores are the minerals from which Metals or other necessary elements can be extracted profitable and conveniently.
for example, Cinnabar (HgS) is the Ore of Mercury and Bauxite (Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>.2H<sub>2</sub>O) is the ore of Aluminium.
