Organic chemistry is mainly composed of two elements. Hydrogen and carbon. In ancient time it was believed that organic compounds are made up of living organisms and cannot be prepared in labs. But accidently when urea was prepared in the lab then a new theory was produced about the organic compounds that they are the combination of Hydrogen and carbons also known as hydrocarbons. Organic chemistry deals with the study of carbon and its compounds.
