Organised sectors are the sectors which are under the control of the government and follow the rules and regulations established by the government.

Advantages of organised sector over unorganised sector:

1. Workers aren't exploited here. Workers have job security and other health care facilities.

2. Workers have pay leaves, are paid for extra hours of work and have holidays

3. The minimum wages act is strictly applied,a man and a women doing same work are paid the same amount of money. This shows gender equality at work place

4. There are constant promotions and the workers aren't stagnant in one place

5. They follow the rules and regulations set by government, thus there are minimal chances of things going wrong

Organized Sectors.

1) Organized sectors refer to places of work/enterprises that are under government control where terms of employment are followed and people have assured work.

2) Since they're registered under the government, they have to follow the rules and regulations laid by the government and mentioned in various laws like The Factories Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, etc.

3) Workers in the Organized sector enjoy the security of employment. They are expected to work for only a fixed number of hours. If they work more, they will be paid overtime by the employer.

4) In the Organized sector, there are provisions for overtime, paid leave, holidays, leave due to sickness, etc.

Benefits of Organized Sectors.

1) An employee cant be asked to leave without any reasoning by the employer. The worker enjoys security of work. Here, nothing depends on the whims of the Employer. Hence, the worker isn't exploited.

2) Jobs are regular. Both Women and Men employees are paid according to their positions/level and gender equality is maintained.

3) They have various provisions, they are paid overtime if they work more, workers can take paid leaves, enjoy registered holidays and are only expected to work for a specific number of hours a day.
