Orographic Rain :---

ᴥ️☞Orographic rain occurs when moisture filled air comes across high relief, such as mountains are forced to rise.

ᴥ️☞As it rises, cooling take place. So, the air condenses to form clouds, then those clouds cool further and it rains. Generally, rain falls on the windward slope of mountain.
