Osmolarity definition -

  • High osmolarity - It refers to the accumulation of solute or mineral or compound in the serum. The higher osmolarity indicated a lower dilution of the particles, that is more particles in the solution.
  • Lower osmolarity - It refers to less accumulation of particles or minerals, and indicates more dilution.
