Let’s make it a little harder, make a bowl of cereal…. Without your arms, legs, or any other parts of your body

Now, go watch a movie, but close your eyes and put in earplugs

Now talk to someone in English…. To a person that only speaks Japanese

Not very easy, is it?

Same thing with a computer without a keyboard, monitor and in some cases a mouse, you simply can’t tell a computer what to do without a keyboard (and sometimes a mouse), and you don’t know what a computer is doing without a monitor

These are input/output devices, and without them, you are unable to use a computer

So in short, the importance of input/output devices is to communicate with a computer, these particular I/O devices are known as HID devices or Human Interface Devices

Other uses can be for data storage, use, transfer, conversion, printing documents, anything, a computer is useless without I/O devices
