Ovary is the main  reproductive organ in females.It produces ovum or egg in the female reproductive system ,during fertilization the sperm fertilizes with this ovum to form the zygote which then moves through the fallopian  tube into the uterus where the zygote grows into a new individual.

The ovary is the sac which contains the ovule and is present under the pistil.The ovary enlarges to form the fruit,the ovarian wall forming the fruit wall.Ovary protects the ovule from germs.Ovary turns into fruit after fertilization.
