Ovaries are present in female, they produce female sex cell(egg) and female hormones Progesterone and Oestrogen


While testis are present in male, they produce the male sex cell(sperm) and Testesterone hormone

the ovary are female gonads. they are responsible for the production of the egg as well as the female of the steroid hormones estrogen and progesterone
the testes are the male gonads they sre responsible for the production of sperm and the male sex harmone.
