Answer:

Oxidation is the process when oxygen combines with an element, changing the appearance of the element. When iron reacts with oxygen and changes to rust, this is an example of oxidation. When fire burns up a wooden log, this is an example of oxidation.

Reduction, any of a class of chemical reactions in which the number of electrons associated with an atom or a group of atoms is increased. The electrons taken up by the substance reduced are supplied by another substance, which is thereby oxidized. See oxidation-reduction reaction.

A chemical reaction in which heat energy is absorbed is known as endothermic reaction.

Oxidation:-

Oxidation is the process which occurs during any chemical reaction. In this process, there is removal of elecron or addition of oxygen. And thus during this, oxidation number increases.

Reduction:-

Unlike oxidation, it is addition of elecron or addition of hydrogen atom.

Endothermic reaction:-

The type of reaction in which energy gets released after the reaction, is called endothermic reaction.
