hey mate!!

here is u r answer!!!

THOSE SUBSTANCE WHICH GIVE OXYGEN (FOR OXIDATION ) ARE CALLED OXIDISING AGENT .

________________________________

CH3CH2 + 2[o] ---------------> CH3COOH +H2O.

________________________________

SINCE THE OXYGEN REQUIRED FOR THE OXIDATION OF ETHANOL TO ETHANOIC ACID HAS BEEN GIVEN BY POTASSIUM DICHROMATE (ACDIFIED K2Cr2O7) SO BOTH THESE SUBSTANCE ARE OXIDISING AGENTS.
