What is ozone hole:-

Ozone hole means hole over ozone layer. Here the amount of ozone has been reduced due to pollution, which gives the chance of ultraviolet rays coming to the surface of the earth.

Impacts of ozone hole:-

• Ozone layer's greatest effect is on the climate. The ozone layer at an altitude of about 25 kilometers in the upper part of the atmosphere protects the life on the earth from the dangerous ultraviolet part of the sun's rays. But when this ozone gas enters the earth's atmosphere, it acts as a poisonous gas for us.

• If the level of ozone gas in the air becomes too high, then the situation may be unconscious and suffocating. The change of weather is making the situation worse due to the extreme heat and the extreme winter.

Formation of ozone layer:

• Gases like carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide present as pollutants in the air cause heat to break down oxygen elements and react with the oxygen present in the air. This produces ozone layer.
