Heya!
Here's your answer.
____________________________________A region of marked thinning of the ozone layer in high latitudes, chiefly in winter, attributed to the chemical action of chlorofluorcarbons and other atmospheric pollutants. The resulting increase in ultraviolet light at ground level gives rise to an increased risk of skin cancer. This is known as Ozone hole.
The stratospheric ozone layer absorbs ultraviolet light (UV) emitted by the sun. If the solar UV light were able to penetrate the stratosphere and troposphere and reach the earth's surface, it would seriously damage our ecosystem. For example, ultraviolet light kills microbes, bacteria, and fungi.

Ans = The depletion of the protective ozone layer by ozone depleting-substances such as nitric oxide and cluoroflorocarbon (CFC) compound to create hole in the ozone layer is ozone hole.
It's Consequences:
1. It can cause skin cancer
2. It also affect our imune system.
3.The Ray's of the sun damages the lens of our eyes and cause loss of sight.
