ozone is a molecule formed by 3 atoms of oxygen.Ozone forms a layer called as the ozone layer in our atmosphere.

It may affect any ecosystem in the following ways:
(i) At the surface of the earth, it is a deadly poison for all lower forms of life.
(ii) If this layer gets depleted, then it may cause cancer in human beings including other plants and animals.

ozone layer is a gas which protect them to harmful rays coming from the sunlight.
it is formed in higher of atmosphere and when it's break down make oxygen.
when ozone layer is not protect them from harmful radiation of sunlight it can get harmful to ecosystem and get disease like cancer.
