It is a disc embedded in wall of uteres

Function

1.It will nourish embryo by rich supply of O2 and other nutrients.

2.it will absorb the waste from embryo a nd remove it outside through maternal blood.

Placenta is a large organ which develops during pregnancy.. It is attached to the wall of the uterus usually at the top or at the side.. It filter out the substances which could be harmful for baby and also remove carbon dioxide and waste products from baby's blood..
