PARADOX- CONCEPT
A paradox is a problem that is very difficult to solve viewing it from our level.
Mathematics is such a subject that tells us the value of unknown things.
But paradox is known but still the logic of the paradox cannot be dechipered.
The paradox is said to create a conflict between reality and virtuality.
In simple words I would say that the paradox presents us a problem that can be true and at the same time false. It can seem to be real but it can also be false.
Examples:-
The first one is infinite hotel paradox not related to paradoxes of English literature.
1.The infinite hotel paradox:
The infinite hotel paradox is the paradox of a hotel with infinite number of storeys and rooms.I first learnt about it when I was in class 8.
The paradox says if infinite number of buses with infinite guests arrive at the hotel, how would the manager allot them to unique rooms ?
Its easy.
There are infinite prime numbers.
Each prime would represent each bus.The first prime is 2.So all the people of the first would stay at the respective powers of 2.
For example :-2^1 will be the first guest
2^2 -second
2^infinity-last guest of 1st bus.
Here are paradoxes used in literature:-
2.This is the beginning of the end.
3.Here is my rule:It is to ignore all other rules.
4.George Orwell's Animal's farm-"All animals are equal but some are more equal than the others"
