The parenchyma is the functional parts of an organ in the body.

That's the diagram of parenchyma tissue.

Answer:

The function tissue of an organ as distinguished from connective and supportive tissue. It is generally composed of living cells that are thin walled, unspecialized in the structure, and therefore, adaptable, with diffrentiation, to various functions.

It has the ability to divide and differentiate into different cell types. Because of this property parenchyma cells get involved in wound repair.
