What is parenchyma called a simple permanent tissue?

Parenchyma is known to be a simple permanent tissue because it does not contain different types of cells. The parenchyma only contains parenchymatous cell. As the cells of the permanent tissue do not have the ability to divide so the cells are specialized to perform specific functions which are subdivided into groups.
