The tissues which does not have the ability to divide cells are called Permanent tissues.
They are divided into two: Complex tissues and Simple tissues.
Example for Complex tissues are xylem and Phloem.
Example for Simple tissues are Parenchyma, Chlorenchyma etc.

Permanent tissue refers to the meristematic tissue that has completed its growth and is not capable of division anymore.
