Considering the definition of parthenogenesis
it is ,
Female gamete undergoes development to form an organism without fertilization ( Young one develope from an ovum without fertilization)
eg: Rotifers, some lizards , some birds- Turkeys
Parthenogenesis is actually a kind if variation in Sexual reproduction.
