In the eye of the bird a comb like structure is present. It is called pecten. It is soft and vascular. It is a rectangular plate. It projects into the vitreous humour from the blind spot.

Hey friend,

Am I right if you are asking about pecten?

Pecten, is a comb like structure which is found in the eyes of all birds except KIWI..

Pecten helps in accommodation of eye and provides nutrition to eye balls...

It also controls the pressure of liquid present in eye..

Hope it helps!!
