peculiar thing about cell wall of bacteria is

• made of murein(also called peptidoglycan)
• murein is made from polysaccharide chains cross-linked by unusual peptides containing D-amino acids
• while cell wall of plantcells are made of cellulose

there are two types of bacteria that is gram positive bacteria and gram negative bacteria..
