they are enzymes important in digestion of protein In the stomach pepsinogen is converted by the action of HCl into pepsin which brokes proteins into proteoses and peptones(peptides) further trypsinogen is released inside the small intestine chymotrypsinogen and procarboxypeptidases are also released in intestine along with trypsinogen in the form of pancreatic juice intestinal mucosa releases enterprise which form active trypsin from trypsinogen which activates other enzymes chymotrypsin and carboxipeptidases this further convert proteins peptones and proteoses into dipeptides
