Ram is a fruit seller. He bought 50 dozen bananas for
Rs 135. Five dozen bananas could not be sold because
they were rotten. He wants to earn 20% profit on
remaining bananas to cover the loss. Find out the
selling price of remaining bananas.

so per dozen it's=2.7

and 5 dozens are rotten so 5× 2.7= 13.5

cost of rotten fruit must be deduct from overall cost price that is 135-13.5= 121.5

so profit must be calculated on

121.5×120/100= 145.8

so SP of remaining fruits is 145.8
