when the inner lining of uterus is burst it releases a lot of blood and wastes which come out of the female body through vagina.This is known as periods

when the ova releases from ovary then inner lining of uterus develops a layer to recieve

a fused egg but if the egg is not fuses with sperm then then no zygote is formed . therefore this lining breaks which leads to bleeding through vagina . this is refer to periods.
