peroxisome is a small vesicle found around the cell. it is a oxidative enzyme which contain a single membrane that breaks down the toxic materials in the cell.
They absorbs the nutrients the cell takes. they also help in digesting fatty acid in the cell.

➡️Peroxisomes have enzymes peroxide biosynthesis.

➡️These occur in most of the animals and plants, but are quite common in photosynthetic cells where these perform photorespiration.

➡️For this, they are associated with chloroplast and mitochondria.

➡️They possess is peroxide producing as well as peroxide destroying enzymes.
