pH of a solution tells us about the nature of solution ie. acidic or basic.
pH scale tells us about the concentration of OH neg. and H positive ions

pH is the power of Hydrogen dissociate in aqueous solution of any acid.
It tells us how strong an acid or base is.

For ex:-
If pH is 1, then the substance is a strong acid.
If pH is 5, then the substance is a weak acid.
If pH is 7, then the substance is a neutral.
If pH is 9, then the substance is a weak base.
If pH is 14, then the substance is a strong base.

Its range is 1-14.
