how can you infer whether the given substance is an acid or a base without using any of the indicators? for this we use the pH scale the pH of water soluble substance is the measure of the acidity or alkalinity
the ph scale range of values from 1 to 14 with 7as middle point
acidic solution of PH less than 7 lower the pH more acidic is the solution
if the value is above 7 the solution is said to be basic
the basic increase has the value of PH increase
acid will donate hydrogen ions in aqueous solution does have a low PH mark as brainlist
