pH scale is a scale which measures whether the given substance is acidic or basic . It's pH will decrease or below 6.

pH scale tells us the property of acidity or basicity of any compound.
If any compound has ph more than 8 then it's basic and if it is less than 8 then it's acidic in nature.
When the milk having ph of 6 sets into curd then it's ph becomes 4.5-5.5(depends on temperature conditions)due to generation of lactic acid into it.
