Phanerogams: Phanerogams are those plants which produces seed after fertilization. They are composed of two Greek words that is "Faneros" which means evident and “Gamos” which means marriage. Their body parts are well distinguish from each other i. e. roots, leaves and stem.
It consists of two groups.
1) Gymnosperms
2) Angiosperms
Angiosperms is also called flowering plant and its seeds are hidden in the ovary while gymnosperms does not produce flowers and its seeds are not hidden in the ovary.
