The hollow tube inside the neck that starts behind the nose and ends at the top of the trachea (windpipe) and esophagus (the tube that goes to the stomach) is called pharynx.

The long pipe like structure which allows the food to our digestive system is called oesophagus

Pharynx

The pharynx is an organ found in animals.. The pharynx is part of digestive system and also the respiratory sysems both of which can be found in humans... It i sthe part of the digestive tube which is placed behind the nasal cavities , mouth and larynx.

Oesophagus

Oesophagus or food pipe is a thin muscular tube about 25 cm long act as passage for food.  It runs posteriorly downwards through throat and thorax and then it enters into the stomach.
