Genotype is the genetic makeup of an organism. Eg: TT or tt

Phenotype - it is the expressed character which js geneticlly controlled.
Genotype- it is the combination of genes in an organism.
Like two plants cross for 1 character (monohybrid cross)
One homozygous dominant and one homozygous recessive for red flowers and white flowers.
R stands for red flowers and r stands for white flowers
RR and rr
So all offsprings produced will be heterozygous
I.e Rr
So phenotype is all plants will have red flowers.
Genotype heterozygous I.e Rr
