Photosensitivity is a capability to respond to reception of photons especially visible lights.
One such example is the metal Silver.
The salts of silver are sensitive to lights or photons. Usually silver salts are formed by combining silver and one of its halogens (AgCl, AgI, etc). When this salt is presented under sunlight, they split up into its constituents.
For example: Silver bromide on exposure to sunlight decomposes to silver and bromine gas thereby giving a grey color.
