PHOTOSYNTHESIS -- In green plants, light energy is captured and used to convert water, carbon dioxide, and minerals into oxygen and energy-rich organic compounds is called Photosynthesis.

6CO2 + 6H20 + (energy) → C6H12O6 + 6O2

Carbon dioxide + water + energy from light produces glucose and oxygen
