Some points on Photo Chemical smog are:-

1. This smog was first observed by Los Angeles that's why it is also known as Los Angeles smog.

2. In this process smoke, fog, nitrogenoxide, hydrocarbons, Oxggen, UV, light and High temperature are essential.

3. Photochemical smog causes irritation in eyes and harms the lungs.

4. Due to smog elastic substances like rubber or tyers are also affected.

5. Ozone causes harm to mucous membrane.

6. During smog peroxyacetyl nitrate (PAN) is formed.

7. PAN stops or inhibits the photolysis of water.

8. PAN also inhibit the chlorophyll formation in plants.
