Photosynthesis is the process by which plants and other micro organisms use the energy from sunlight to produce their products (sugar), which cellular respiration converts into ATP, with the presence of chlorophyll.
In other words,
It is the process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize nutrients from carbon dioxide and water.

6CO + 6H⇒ CH₁₂O + 6O₂ + ATP (energy⊕)

I hope this helps you ^_^
