Answer:

Photosynthesis is a biological process through which green plants convert the sunlight, into their essential foods.

➡️ It occurs through light and dark reaction

If sunlight is required then it is light reaction and if sunlight is not required then it is a dark reaction.

➡️ the following events occur during this process :-

☆ absorption of light energy by chlorophyll.

☆ conversion of light energy to chemical energy and splitting of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen.

☆ Reduction of carbon dioxide to carbohydrates.

➡️ the following reaction occurs here :-

6CO2 + 12H2O -------------> C6H12O6 + 6O2 + 6H2O ( with the action of chlorophyll and sunlight)

➠Photosynthesis :-

photosynthesis is the process through which plants use water and carbon dioxide to create their food, grow and release excess oxygen into the air. Photosynthesis uses sunlight, carbon dioxide and water to produce oxygen, glucose and water.

☞ The photosynthesis equation is as follows:

6CO2 + 6H20 + (energy) → C6H12O6 + 6O2 Carbon dioxide + water + energy from light produces glucose and oxygen.

☞ MoRe to know.....

The primary function of photosynthesis is to convert solar energy into chemical energy and then store that chemical energy for future use. For the most part, the planet's living systems are powered by this process
