Photosynthesis is a process by which green plants make their own food from simple molecules like carbon dioxide and water by using sunlight captured by the green pigment called chlorophyll. Photosynthesis requires carbon dioxide, water, sunlight and chlorophyll pigment. They are called the raw materials of photosynthesis.
