The photosynthesis is the process by which the green plants prepare there own food in the form of starch by utilising the sun light, chlorophyll, nutrients in the soil and carbon dioxide form the atmosphere.

This process will be carried out only in day time.

BUT,

Some desert plants observe sunlight in day time and carry out photosynthesis in nights.
