Photosynthesis is the process in which green plants use chlorophyll, sunlight, carbon dioxide and water to make their own food. Chlorophyll helps to trap sunlight(light energy), plants take up carbon dioxide from air and absorb water from soil. These inorganic raw materials help plants in making their own food.
