The reaction between carbon dioxide and water in the presence of chlorophyll and sunlight is called photosynthesis.

JayanthHS: It releases oxygen as a by-product. Carbon dioxide and water go in through stomata and oxygen and moisture comes out through stomata itself. Food is synthesised and glucose is the dood manufactured.
