in simple language the photosynthesis mean the ability to a plant to make its own food it can be plant or any other microorganism. to start the process of photosynthesis the platt must have chlorophyll this is a substance which has a property to absorb sunlight if the plant want to perform photosynthesis for its living the plant must have carbon dioxide water and sunlight these are the things which perform photosynthesis as a byproduct of photosynthesis plants release carbon dioxide
