photosynthesis is the process of plants which help them prepare food using sunlight, air (CO2), water and minerals from the soil. plants have a special pigment called chlorophyll which is green in colour. the chlorophyll absorbs sunlight. the leaves have special openning called stomata which takes in air. and the roots take in minerals and water from soil.
