photosynthesis is a process where plants trap sunlight with the help of chlorophyll.Chlorophyll is a green pigment wich helps leaves to trap sunlight. Root absorb water,minerals and transported by xylem vessels to leaves stomata take CO2 from air . Then , in the presence of sunlight , water, minerals and CO2 they form glucose C6H12O6 and O2 .
