Photosynthesis :

It is a process by which green plants make their food by carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight. It converts light energy into chemical energy.

Types:

1.Anoxygenic :

It does not produce oxygen during photosynthesis.

2.Oxygenic :

It converts light energy into chemical energy.

6CO2 + 12H2O + Light energy ➡C6H12O6 + 6O2 + 6H2O

Photosynthesis is the process in which green plants use sunlight to make their own food.

\huge\underline\mathrm\green{Know-More}

✨Photosynthesis is necessary for life on Earth.

✨Without it there would be no green plants, and without green plants there would be no animals.

✨Photosynthesis requires sunlight, chlorophyll, water, and carbon dioxide gas.

✨Animals obtain energy from eating plants.

✨During photosynthesis in green plants, light energy is captured and used to convert water, carbon dioxide, and minerals into oxygen and energy-rich organic compounds.
