Question: What is photosynthesis ?

Answer: Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants make their own food. The plants use simple chemical substances, like carbon dioxide, water & minerals for synthesising their food, in the presence of sunlight/light.

PHOTOSYNTHESIS--- FOOD MAKING PROCESS IN PLANTS.

The synthesis of food in plants occurs in their leaves. hence leaves are called the food factories of the plants. the leaves have a green

pigment called chlorophyll. it helps leaves to capture the energy of the sunlight. This energy is used by the plants to synthesise their food using carbon dioxide & water. this process is called photosynthesis.

(photo = light, synthesis = to combine) as it takes place in the presence of sunlight. This process can be written in the form of the following equation: (equation and some other informations are given in attachment)

I HOPE IT HELPS YOU FRIEND☺️☺️☺️
