Placenta is a disc like structure present inside the mother womb.
It provides nutrition to fetus

placenta is a disk like structure present in the uterine wall of mother. it has large blood space at mother's side and has villi on the embroy's side. villi helps to absorb most nutrients of food from mother's blood also the waste generated by growing embryo get out through it into mother's blood
