Hello,
There are two kinds of plasma.
One is plasma matter and another is plasma found in blood.
1)Plasma matter :- It refers to the atoms which gain a lot of energy from a source and hence don't require electrons to be stored in them.
2)Plasma in blood :- It is a yellowish fluid present in blood and consists of two parts:-
(i) Cellular part :- It consists of mainly WBC (leukocyte).
(ii) Liquid part:- It consists of dissolved nutrients, minerals, waste matter,hormones, enzymes, etc.
Plasma helps in transportation of nutrients to those parts where blood can't reach. When it leaks out from the walls of capillaries, it is also known as lymph.
