Plasma is a straw coloured fluid which constitutes about 55℅ of the total volume of blood. It comprises many inorganic and organic compounds. The organic substances present in plasma include soluble protein , albuim , globulins and fibrinogen and glucose , amino acid , lipids , vitamins , enzymes , wastes , hormones , digested food and gases to be transported, etc.

Function :-

It helps in transportation , blood clotting , immunity , maintain osmotic tension in blood , etc.
