what is Plasmolysis why plasmolysis is not happening in an animal cell​

Plasmolysis is a process by which the cell membrane along with the cytoplasm shrinks from the cell wall when the plant cell is put in a hypertonic solution

it doesn't happen in an animal cell because animal cells do not have a cell wall.
